For healers, seekers and creatives.

In 2022 I planned, produced and hosted a womens wellness retreat on beautiful Bowen Island. I decided that retreats would be a perfect combination of my skills and passions and experiences. In January I decided to host the retreat, and it came to life at the end of June.

MOVE + CONNECT + CREATE + REFLECT

It was held at woman owned Xenia Retreat Centre. The centre has a series of rustic cabins that sleep 2-5 people, a massage hut, meditation zen den, beautiful yurt, stone circle atop a hill in a meadow, and a delightful lodge for meals and lounging. The lake is a short walk away, and you can visit a 1000 year old Douglas Fir named OPA or the rock labyrinth. Literally everything about this place is intentional!

Saturday morning Suzanne taught partner yoga in the yurt, followed by breakfast. The meals were provided by The Rooted Table, an amazing catering company owned by the one and only Hilary Brent. Our chef was Georgie and you can see the delicious meals she prepared for us. We dined like Queens.

After painting, I did mini photo shoots for everyone. They had a choice of OPA or field with horse. The rest of the time they had free time to forest bathe, visit animals, meditate, read or anything they chose. A main thing I wanted to create for people was space. Space to be and connect.

Saturday evening we had a sound bath combo with Akashic Record reading by Martine. Ida Cummings was on site to capture the moment, like this one with her drone.
After dinner we had a fire and enjoyed hearing stories from Angeline, the owner and creator of Xenia.

The whole weekend was magical and I will definitely use the experience to plan future nourishing experiences for people.
