Do I Need an AI Chatbot?

Let’s do a shallow dive into the world of chatbots. As you know I love tech, but I’m not a developer. I just don’t want to get left behind in the AI revolution, so when a friend of mine suggested we start an AI Chatbot Agency, I thought (and said), “sure, let’s do it!”.

So now we have an AI Chatbot Agency.

The first step for me, when starting a business, is getting to know the subject matter. My friend is Dr. Kaila Holtz, a physician and olympian who found herself needing a chatbot to enhance both customer and medical office assistant (MOA) experience. She was experience staff turnover and training inefficiencies that bots would be a time saving solution for. So she found a solution, asked me if I was interested in being involved, and started training her bots.

To start getting familiar with them myself, I have been building a chatbot for the Image Optimist website. I wanted a place where people could experience the bot and have a conversation with it, to determine whether or not this was something they saw value in for their business.

Kaila, as a physician, has many peers struggling with the same staffing and time issues. For this reason, we decided to focus on providing, training and supporting bots in the medical and healthcare industry. This includes doctors, physiotherapists, cosmetic doctors and dentists. There is enough overlap with these professionals and their clinics, that we can establish ourselves as leaders in the medical bot field.

Bots shine in these areas.

  • Lead generation

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Processing vast amounts of information in a short period of time

  • Finding answers to questions quickly and accurately

Our bots shine specifically because

  • We train them specifically for their role in the office as either client, MOA or clinician facing

It’s important to note that bots of today are not like bots of the past. I refuse to deliver a bot who sends people in frustrating circular conversations without providing any information or contact details. There appear to be companies who absolutely do not want to be contacted. We are not those companies. These are not those bots.

For all business types, (smart) bots have been proven to increase leads, positive reviews, and customer engagement.

Specifically for health care they offer

ENHANCED PATIENT ENGAGEMENT

Enable effortless onboarding, proactive suggestions on preventive care, nutrition and overall health management.

PATIENT REFERRAL AND SCHEDULING

Facilitate seamless patient referrals, appointment scheduling, consultation and lab test bookings.

REDUCED SUPPORT COSTS WITH 24/7 SELF-SERVICE ACROSS CHANNELS

Instant responses to inquiries

Resolve issues promptly

Enhances customer satisfaction

Integrate with existing CRM/ERP systems for real-time availability, enhancing patient convenience.

This is sounding a little bit like an ad, but I’m trying to share what I’m up to, and how I think bots will be beneficial to clinics and professionals by reducing administrative work load and creating more time.

Bots are only as good as their training. That’s why we are focusing on health care, so we can niche ourselves in this one area.

This is my bot, Pixel. If you’d like to ask Pixel some questions, she has been instructed to answer your questions as best as possible, while being informative, professional, concise and clever. In that order.

Please let me know how your experience goes, she is still in training 😄

Thanks!
